Recessed Lights Video Tutorial

The recessed lights in Podium Browser have an auto-cut feature which allows you to simple insert the recessed lights in a ceiling or wall face. When that is done the face around the light fixture is trimmed automatically. This will not work on groups directly. You will need to open the group either and then place the recessed light on the ceiling or wall face in the group.

The above video tutorial is based on the old Podium Browser user interface but is still very relevant. It demonstrates this time saving feature along with the accurately modeled recessed lights. All recessed lights have point lights in them so if you are using SU Podium, ProWalker or PodiumWalker, these are render ready. But the recessed lights are effective in SketchUp and you can easily place point lights from other rendering extensions.
